The Jefferson County Watermelon Festival is a the BIG annual event that takes place in Monticello, Florida during the 3rd weekend in June. The festival events and activities go on for a week or so prior, but the main event is always the 3rd Saturday in June, with a parade beginning at 10 am and music and vendor and food booths set up in the downtown area.
The Keystone FRW have participated in the Watermelon Festival since June of 2019 and look forward to having a booth on both Friday and Saturday, and walking in the parade handing out patriotic items, like American Flags, patriotic pencils and buttons.
