COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the NFRW to advance national issues of importance to all U.S. citizens.
- Work with the FFRW to advance issues of importance to Floridians and Jefferson County residents during the Florida’s Legislative session.
- Florida Legislative Committees meet several months before session officially begins.
- The Florida Legislative Session, during election (even) years, is the 1st Tuesday in January through the 1st Friday in March.
- The Florida Legislative Session, during non-election (odd) years, is the 1st Tuesday in March through the 1st Friday in May.
- Follow local (Jefferson County & City of Monticello) issues to inform KFRW members as needed.
