AA/Volunteer Hours

VERY EXCITING NEWS! NFRW is excited to announce a significant upgrade to the Political & Campaign Volunteer Awards program for 2026-2027 term. Revised February 2026.
Club members will submit their political and campaign volunteer hours and calls to their Club Achievement Awards Chair at the end of each volunteer award period for the past six months.

Awards will be presented at the end of each six-month period in two categories:

  1. Top Political and Campaign Hours logged
  2. Top Number of Calls logged

Below are the Club and State Award Winner categories to be recognized at the end of each award reporting period for the most volunteer calls and hours::

  1. Top Member
  2. Club based on size: 1-15 Total Members, 16-24 Total Members, 25-39 Total Members, 40-64 Total Members, 65-89 Total Members, 90+ Total Members
  3. State Based on size: 1-16 Clubs, 17-26 Clubs, 27-34 Clubs, 35-44 Clubs, 45-83 Clubs, 84+ Clubs The final cumulative awards, which will span the total two-year period, will be given at the NFRW Biennial Convention.

The process for collecting political and campaign hours begins with the individual club member submitting their total hours and calls on a best estimate basis to the Club Achievement Awards Chair. Round up to the closest whole hour.

Note: Please proofread your work before submitting.

  • A Primary or Associate member cannot volunteer longer than approximately 4,320 total hours in a six-month reporting period (assuming the most extreme case which is not realistically feasible). [6 months x 30 days x 24 hours a day = 4,320 hours]
  • An average Primary or Associate member can make between 250-300 calls per hour if set to power dialer on an app, and 75-100 if hand dialing.
  • Associate member volunteer calls and hours can only be counted by one club.

All clubs are to report every six months our ongoing progress as follows:

  1. First Report: July 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025Due to KFRW NLT January 5, 2026.
  2. Second Report: January 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026Due to KFRW NLT July 5, 2026.
  3. Third Report: July 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026Due to KFRW NLT January 5, 2027.
  4. Fourth Report: January 1, 2027 – June 30, 2027Due to KFRW NLT July 5, 2027.

Achievement Award/Volunteer Hours Committee

COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Have available Volunteer Hour Recap Forms to all KFRW members, both Primary and Associate.
  • Review all KFRW Political and Campaign Volunteer Hour Recap Forms received from members.
  • Tally all club members’ recap forms to represent the entire club in total volunteer hours.
  • Report the KFRW volunteer hours totals to NFRW online by the scheduled due dates.
  • Every two years, complete the NFRW and FFRW Achievement Awards forms by the scheduled due dates.
