Based on feedback from the States and the Clubs, effective with the period starting July 1, 2021, NFRW Political & Campaign Award subcommittee will begin collecting 1) political and campaign activity hours and 2) call totals every six months leading up to the NFRW Biennial Convention in September 2023 (held every two years).
Awards will be presented in these two categories.
- Top political and campaign hours logged
- Top number of calls logged
An award announced in the NFRW Capital Connection will be given at the end of each reporting period for the most calls and campaign hours to the top:
- Member
- Club based on size: 1-15 Total Members, 16-24 Total Members, 25-39 Total Members, 40-64 Total Members, 65-89 Total Members, 90+ Total Members
- State Based on size: 1-9 Clubs, 10-19 Clubs, 20-29 Clubs, 30-49 Clubs, 50-79 Clubs, 80+ Clubs The final cumulative awards, which will span the total two-year period, will be given at the NFRW Biennial Convention.
All clubs are to report every six months our ongoing progress as follows:
- First Report: July 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023 (Due to NFRW no later than: Jan. 15, 2024) – Due to KFRW NLT January 5, 2024.
- Second Report: January 1, 2024 – June 30, 2024 (Due to NFRW no later than: July 15, 2024) – Due to KFRW NLT July 5, 2024.
- Third Report: July 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024 (Due to NFRW no later than: Jan. 15, 2025) – Due to KFRW NLT January 5, 2025.
- Fourth Report: January 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025 (Due to NFRW no later than: July 15, 2025) – Due to KFRW NLT July 5, 2025.

COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Have available Volunteer Hour Recap Forms to all KFRW members, both Primary and Associate.
- Review all KFRW Political and Campaign Volunteer Hour Recap Forms received from members.
- Tally all club members’ recap forms to represent the entire club in total volunteer hours.
- Report the KFRW volunteer hours totals to NFRW online by the scheduled due dates.
- Every two years, complete the NFRW and FFRW Achievement Awards forms by the scheduled due dates.
